eComID raises $17 million to expand AI-powered shopping technology
Swedish startup eComID has secured $17 million in a seed funding round led by Systemiq Capital. Other participants include Regeneration. VC, Course Corrected, Stadium, and returning investor CapitalT.
The capital is intended to drive international expansion, product development, and team growth. eComID provides a ‘Shopping Passport’ that allows consumers to carry personal context, such as size and preferences, across different connected brands. This data is utilized by Vera, the company’s AI shopping agent, to facilitate conversational search and personalized product discovery.
Since its launch in 2024, eComID has partnered with over 60 brands, including COS, Axel Arigato, and Peak Performance, reaching approximately 20 million shoppers monthly. The company reports that users of the platform experience a 30% lower return rate, while participating brands see a 10% increase in conversion rates. eComID was also recognized as one of Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies of 2025.
