ECON Road Summit to assist Northeast Brazilian businesses in US expansion

The fifth edition of the ECON Road Summit will travel through four Northeastern Brazilian capitals—Natal, João Pessoa, Recife, and Fortaleza—in November to assist entrepreneurs in expanding to the United States.

Scheduled to begin on November 9 in Natal and conclude on November 12 in Fortaleza, the summit features panels on internationalization, investment, immigration, international accounting, innovation, and the real estate market. The initiative aims to connect business owners with professionals already established in the U.S. market to facilitate networking and guidance through the initial stages of international expansion.

Participants include specialists from ApexBrasil and SelectFlorida, alongside experts in immigration law and international accounting. Economist Gláucio Uchoa, a leader of the project, noted that the primary challenge for internationalization is not merely opening a company, but accessing the correct professional networks.
