Several initiatives in Catalonia are focusing on strengthening the social and solidarity economy through strategic collaboration and value chain optimization.

A workshop titled ‘Iniciatives de cadenes de valor com a instrument de millora de la competitivitat’ will be held on October 28 at Mas Carandell. Led by Lluís Ramis of Clúster Development, the session aims to use value chains as a strategic tool to improve business results and competitiveness, specifically addressing sectors such as construction, woodworking, and furniture.

Simultaneously, the municipality of Salt will host the ‘I si de les idees en fem projectes?’ session at the Coma Cros Cultural Factory. This event seeks to facilitate alliances between local administrations, entities, and businesses to drive local development projects. The program includes presentations on innovation in the social economy by David Pino and guidance on local development subsidies from the Diputació de Girona.

Additionally, discussions within the Ateneu Cooperatiu de la Catalunya Central have highlighted the importance of strategic planning and leadership within the cooperative sector. Experts emphasize that despite market volatility, collective strategic planning remains essential for guiding cooperatives through complex economic environments.
