Economic Forum hosts panel on war correspondence

At the Economic Forum in Karpacz, a panel titled ‘Witness to Chaos: What a Correspondent Really Sees’ will explore the realities and ethical dilemmas faced by war correspondents. The discussion aims to look beyond headlines to address the human stories of fear and survival that reporters capture in conflict zones.

Moderated by Magdalena M. Baran of the Liberté! Foundation, the panel features prominent figures including photographer Mads Nissen, a multi-time World Press Photo winner, and Ron Haviv, co-founder of the VII Foundation. Other participants include Anna Alboth from Minority Rights Group International, Zbigniew Parafianowicz from Wirtualna Polska, and Piotr Kaszuwara from the Foundation for the Future of Ukraine.
