Economic Forum Karpacz Convenes Leaders on Stability Amid Geopolitical Tensions

The 35th Economic Forum will be held September 8‑10, 2026 in Karpacz, Poland, gathering more than 6,000 participants from around 60 countries. Under the theme “The Architecture of a New Order – Stability in Times of Change,” the conference addresses challenges such as the war in Ukraine, Middle‑East conflicts, and shifting global power balances.

Speakers include presidents, prime ministers, ministers, top business executives, university rectors and cultural figures. The programme spans eight focus areas – AI, cybersecurity, health care, regional development, economy, international politics and security, society and sustainable development – and features panels on spatial development decision‑making and water‑resource management. The Institute of Geography and Spatial Organization of the Polish Academy of Sciences co‑organises the event.

The forum aims to shape policies and partnerships that enhance security, resilience and stable development across Europe and beyond.
