EcoPro HN targets $1.5 bn contract to supply RCS and filters for Micron's Idaho fab

South Korean clean‑technology firm EcoPro HN is in the final stages of negotiating a contract worth 2‑2.5 trillion won (approximately $1.5 billion) to provide Regenerative Catalytic System (RCS) units and clean‑room chemical filters for Micron Technology’s new semiconductor fabrication plants, designated ID1 and ID2, in Idaho, USA. The deal would involve supplying more than 1 trillion won to each facility, surpassing EcoPro HN’s 2022 revenue of 141 billion won and representing its largest single order to date. RCS technology lowers exhaust‑gas treatment temperatures from 1,300‑1,400 °C to below 750 °C while recovering up to 95 % of heat, cutting energy costs by about 85 %. EcoPro HN previously supplied chemical filters to Micron and has supplied RCS units to Samsung’s new fab projects. The company has begun hiring staff for the U.S. deployment, indicating readiness for the forthcoming project. Analysts see the contract as a major growth driver for EcoPro HN amid expanding global semiconductor equipment investment.
