Ecotourism congresses announced in Argentina and Spain

Various regional tourism congresses are scheduled to address the growth and management of ecotourism and active travel.

In Corrientes, Argentina, the 4th Litoral Ecotourism Congress is set for September 3 and 4, 2026. Under the theme ‘ReGenera Turismo: Viajes con propósito y gestión inteligente’, the event aims to utilize tourism as a tool for environmental, social, and economic development. The congress will feature conferences, panels, and business rounds involving participants from Paraguay, Colombia, Brazil, and Buenos Aires.

In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, the National Congress of Active Tourism and Ecotourism will take place on September 25 at the Elder Museum of Science and Technology. Organized by Anetae and Ecoactiva Canarias, the event will focus on industry challenges such as climate change adaptation, digitalization, and regulation in protected natural spaces. The congress highlights the Canary Islands' position as a significant hub for the sector, hosting over 1,400 registered companies dedicated to active and ecotourism.
