Ecovacs launches Ultramarine P1 pool robot in Australia

Ecovacs unveiled four new outdoor cleaning robots at The Calyx event in Sydney, expanding its range beyond floor vacuums to include lawn mowers, a window cleaner and the ULTRAMARINE P1 pool cleaner. The pool robot is designed for autonomous operation, offering up to three hours of runtime, an 18,200‑litre‑per‑hour suction system and a dual‑filter basket to capture leaves, sand and fine particles. It retails for AUD 999.

A separate test of the Ultramarine P1 in a family pool examined its performance with leaves, sand and obstacles. Reviewers noted strong cleaning on pool walls and floor, effective suction, and reliable navigation, though occasional mis‑steps on steps were observed. Ecovacs’ Australian and New Zealand regional director Karen Powell said, "We know how much Aussies cherish their outdoor lifestyle, but the hard work of maintaining a beautiful backyard can eat into precious weekend time."
