Malaysia Rail Link (MRL) has announced the passenger fare structure for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL), with commercial operations scheduled to begin in mid-December. The fare system utilizes a dynamic pricing mechanism, similar to the airline industry, where prices fluctuate based on demand, booking timing, and seat availability.

For the 523-kilometer route between Gombak and Kota Bharu, Economy Class Transit fares start at RM125, while Express service fares start at RM147. Other key routes include Gombak to Kuala Terengganu, with Transit fares from RM95 and Express from RM110, and Gombak to KotaSAS, starting at RM60 for Transit and RM68 for Express.

To mark the official opening, a 30% discount will be offered to Economy Class passengers during the first month of operation. Additionally, the government has approved permanent concession discounts: 50% for children (ages 2–12), senior citizens (60 and above), Persons with Disabilities (OKU), and government pensioners, while students aged 13 to 24 will receive a 40% discount. Ticket sales are expected to commence in mid-November.
