Ecuador and Mexico strengthen commercial and cultural ties
The Binational Chamber of Commerce Ecuador–Mexico (COMECUAMEX) held the “México vive en Quito” event to strengthen cultural and commercial ties between the two nations. The gathering, attended by approximately 500 people including representatives from Mexican companies operating in Ecuador, aimed to foster business opportunities and deepen productive relationships through cultural exchange.
Economic data highlights the strength of this bilateral connection. Between 2000 and 2025, foreign direct investment from Mexico into Ecuador totaled USD 1.64 billion. Additionally, trade exchange between the two economies reached USD 775.9 million in 2025.
