Ecuador concerts feature Arcángel, Carlos Rivera and Reik
International reggaeton star Arcángel performed a series of sold‑out shows in Ecuador, beginning on 28 July at Quito’s Coliseo General Rumiñahui and continuing through 4 August at Guayaquil’s Coliseo Voltaire Paladines Polo. The concerts sparked controversy after the artist made remarks about Spain’s colonial history, prompting a clarification on his social‑media accounts.
Mexican pop singer Carlos Rivera and the trio Reik will share the stage for the first time in Ecuador in November. Rivera’s concert is scheduled for 5 November at the Coliseo General Rumiñahui in Quito, followed by Reik’s show on 7 November at Guayaquil’s Medio Estadio Alberto Spencer. Both events are part of the artists’ ongoing tours and have tickets already on sale.
