Ecuador Davis Cup team completes training in London

The Ecuadorian Davis Cup team has completed its third day of training at the Copper Box Arena in London. With the arrival of Diego Hidalgo, the squad is now fully assembled and focused on their upcoming series against Great Britain.

Scheduled events include a press conference featuring captains Raúl Viver of Ecuador and Leon Smith of Great Britain, followed by a draw ceremony to determine the match schedules for Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20.

Among the players is youth standout Ángel Véliz, who expressed enthusiasm about his first experience representing the national team. The competition serves as a pathway for teams to secure one of seven spots to join host Italy in the Final 8 in Bologna this November.
