Ecuador hosts international startup congress and investor rounds

Ecuador is strengthening its position within the global entrepreneurship ecosystem through two major upcoming initiatives. The Indo-American International Startup Congress will be held on October 28 and 29 at the Universidad Indoamérica in Ambato. This event is expected to gather over 100 leaders from 20 countries, including investors, founders, and innovators from the United States, Europe, and Latin America, to facilitate business opportunities and internationalization.

Additionally, the Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo (FIDBAN) has announced the first Investor Round in Ecuador, scheduled for October 13, 2026, at the University of Guayaquil. This initiative aims to connect local startups and innovative companies with international investment networks. The event is part of FIDBAN’s strategy to facilitate access to financing and promote the expansion of local projects into global markets through academic and professional collaboration.
