Ecuador's Ministry of Education, Sport and Culture has launched the ‘Ecuador Productivo’ national postgraduate scholarship program. With an investment exceeding USD 1.7 million, the initiative aims to provide 595 scholarships to support specialized studies, academic master's degrees, and technological master's degrees.
All eligible programs must be conducted online through Ecuadorian universities, polytechnic schools, or technological institutes. Each scholarship covers 100% of tuition and fees, up to a maximum of USD 3,000 per beneficiary. The program focuses on 39 strategic areas of knowledge, including computer science, energy, civil engineering, agriculture, and environmental protection technologies.
Applications are open from October 15 until October 25, 2026. To qualify, applicants must hold a prior degree, be currently enrolled or admitted to an eligible program, and maintain their citizenship rights. The program intends to prioritize individuals in situations of poverty or extreme poverty, persons with disabilities, and members of indigenous peoples and nationalities.
