Ecuador launches Safe Water Recognition initiative

The Vice Presidency of Ecuador has launched the ‘Reconocimiento Agua Segura’ (Safe Water Recognition) initiative. This program aims to identify and honor companies and institutions that implement actions to prevent chronic child malnutrition (DCI) by providing access to safe water in vulnerable communities.

Arca Continental, through its subsidiary Tonicorp and in collaboration with The Coca-Cola Company, participated as a private sector representative. The company shared results from its community development and water security programs, which have reportedly benefited over 10,000 people. Additionally, the ‘Líderes Comunitarios’ program, developed alongside World Vision Ecuador, was highlighted as part of Arca Continental’s sustainable business model to promote water access and hygiene.
