Argentina police dismantle family drug trafficking ring
Authorities in Argentina have dismantled a family-run criminal organization responsible for large-scale and retail drug trafficking in Villa 1-11-14 and the Buenos Aires province. Following a year-long investigation, the City Police conducted seven simultaneous raids in locations including Parque Chacabuco, La Boca, and Isidro Casanova.
The operation resulted in the arrest of eight individuals, consisting of five women and three men, including two with extensive criminal records. During the raids, police seized over eight kilograms of narcotics, including marijuana, cocaine, and base paste, along with cash, precision scales, and security cameras used for monitoring police movements.
In a separate incident in Argentina, Gendarmería intercepted a vehicle on Route 12 in Misiones, leading to the arrest of a couple found with approximately 85 kilograms of marijuana.
