Ecuador public institutes offer nearly 600 degree programs

Public institutes in Ecuador are offering approximately 600 different degree programs across 58 institutions. These programs cover various fields, including technology, design, and administration, and are available in different modalities and schedules nationwide.

For the second academic period of the Sierra-Amazonía region, 23,797 spots have been made available in public technological institutes and superior conservatories. Applicants can consult the academic catalog by province and institution through the official Ministry of Education, Sport and Culture platform at admision.educacion.gob.ec.

The application period is scheduled from August 29 to September 3, 2026. During this process, applicants may select up to three career options based on their preferred modality, schedule, and city. Admission is determined by a score that considers evaluations, graduation grades, and, where applicable, affirmative action points.
