Ecuador to feature at Panama and Lima International Book Fairs 2026

The Panama International Book Fair will be held from 25 to 30 August 2026 at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City. Organisers expect more than 100,000 visitors. Ecuador is slated to participate with a 9 m² institutional stand and a delegation of publishers and authors. The Ecuadorian Chamber of the Book and the National Library have opened registration for editors to submit titles, offering free shipping for the first five kilograms and a 30 % sales commission.

The Lima International Book Fair runs from 22 July to 6 August 2026 at the Jockey Exhibition Center in Santiago de Surco, Peru. The event will feature over 600 cultural activities and is expected to attract around 400,000 visitors. Ecuador will be the guest of honor. The fair offers several free‑entry categories, including children under six, seniors over 65, people registered with CONADIS, and residents of Santiago de Surco under a municipal agreement. Ticket prices vary by day and visitor type, with general admission at S/7.50 on weekdays and S/10.00 on weekends.
