Ecuador to showcase editorial production at Guadalajara Book Fair 2026

The Ecuadorian Book Chamber (CEL) has issued an invitation to Ecuadorian publishers, authors, and distributors to participate in the 2026 Guadalajara International Book Fair (FIL). The event is scheduled to take place from November 28 to December 6, 2026, at Expo Guadalajara in Mexico. Italy will serve as the Guest of Honor for this edition.

To promote national publishing, the CEL will manage a 37.5 m² stand (Stand MM5) dedicated to exhibiting and selling Ecuadorian books. Participants will have access to business meetings, brand visibility, and inclusion in the fair's printed and virtual catalogs.

Participation costs for shipping books are set at USD 25 plus VAT per kilo for CEL members and USD 30 plus VAT per kilo for non-members. Members receive a benefit of five free kilos for shipping. The deadline for receiving books and inventories is October 30, 2026.
