Global reports of fatal transport accidents and violent robberies

Multiple fatal and violent incidents involving transport and road safety have been reported across several regions.

In Hungary, a bus carrying pilgrims crashed into a ditch on the M3 highway, resulting in 12 deaths and at least 10 severe injuries; authorities suspect the driver fell asleep. In Brazil, a truck being transported on a trailer struck a pedestrian bridge on the Fernão Dias highway, causing the structure to collapse onto a car and kill two people.

In Mexico, several incidents occurred: a violent robbery on a public transport unit in Puebla left three people injured, including one woman in serious condition; a separate transport vehicle plunged into a ravine after the driver suffered a heart attack during an attempted robbery, injuring 17 people; and a truck driver was wounded during a failed robbery on the 150D highway. In Morelos, a taxi collided with two minors on a motorcycle, leading to their hospitalization.

Other regional reports include seven traffic accidents in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, resulting in one death and five injuries, and a fatal collision with a fixed object in Ocú, Panama.
