Ecuadorian banks recognized in Great Place to Work Latin America 2026

Ecuadorian financial institutions Banco Guayaquil and Banco Internacional have been recognized in the Great Place to Work® Latin America 2026 rankings.

Banco Guayaquil was named the sixth-best place to work in the Latin American financial sector. The bank reported a diverse workforce of over 3,000 employees, with women making up 56% of the staff and 47% of leadership positions. The institution utilizes a model called 'Cultura Magenta' to guide its organizational competencies.

Banco Internacional secured the 17th position in the large company category for Latin America. It is noted as the highest-ranking Ecuadorian company within the list of 100 recognized regional organizations. The bank emphasizes talent management and leadership training as core components of its institutional strategy.
