Ecuadorian firefighters undergo industrial emergency training
Firefighters from seven Ecuadorian provinces—Pastaza, Pichincha, Imbabura, Zamora, Manabí, Sucumbíos, and Orellana—are participating in a specialized 40-hour training course focused on industrial fire operations. The program is being held in the canton of Francisco de Orellana at the “Jhon Gallegos” Industrial Firefighters School, an infrastructure managed by EP Petroecuador designed for practical exercises under controlled conditions.
The training aims to strengthen technical and operational capabilities for responding to emergencies in industrial facilities. By improving coordination and reaction capacity, the initiative seeks to ensure better application of safety protocols and resource management during high-risk scenarios. The multi-province participation also facilitates the exchange of experiences and knowledge between different emergency response institutions.
