Ecuadorian manufacturers highlight national industrial growth

Ecuadorian companies Grupo Consenso and Colineal are highlighting their contributions to national manufacturing and industrial development.

Grupo Consenso has operated for over seven decades, employing approximately 1,300 people in industrial activities. Its subsidiary, Indurama, produced over 1.2 million units of heat, cold, and television products in 2025, with production reaching approximately 1 million units so far in 2026. Other group operations include Tarpuq, which produces 300,000 electronic cards annually for the domestic market, and IGM Motos, which has a monthly assembly capacity of 4,000 motorcycles. The group currently works with 56 Ecuadorian suppliers.

Colineal, a manufacturer with over 50 years of history and 700 direct jobs, is participating in the commemoration of 'Día del Orgullo Ecuatoriano' (Ecuadorian Pride Day). Colineal was one of the founding members of the '¡Mucho mejor! Ecuador' initiative in 2005. This initiative now includes nearly 700 brands across various sectors, supporting more than 125,000 direct jobs and circulating approximately 350 million products and services monthly in the national market.
