Ecuador's National Assembly and UTPL launch legislative bootcamp

The Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL) and the National Assembly of Ecuador are collaborating on the ‘Bootcamp Legislativo Ecuador 2026’. This parliamentary training program is organized by the Legislative School of the General Coordination of Citizen Participation of the National Assembly.

Building on the 2025 ‘Verano Legislativo’ initiative, the program aims to strengthen knowledge in parliamentary procedures, democracy, citizen participation, and public management. Under an inter-institutional cooperation agreement signed in 2022, UTPL will provide seven specialists to cover topics such as conflict resolution, parliamentary oratory, digital political communication, artificial intelligence in politics, and parliamentary diplomacy.

UTPL also provides academic oversight, including content review, methodology support, and certification for participants who meet the established requirements.
