ECUATEXTIL 2026 to host 8,000 visitors in Atuntaqui

The ECUATEXTIL 2026 trade fair is scheduled to take place from September 10 to 12, 2026, at the Fábrica Imbabura in Atuntaqui, Imbabura. The event expects to host approximately 8,000 visitors, including entrepreneurs, designers, manufacturers, and buyers.

Operating under the concept ‘El Encuentro’ (The Encounter), the fair aims to unite the entire productive chain, ranging from raw material producers and artisans to industrial suppliers and major brands. The agenda will feature specialized machinery, textiles, fashion shows, business networking sessions, and technical advisory services.

Doris Campbell Sánchez, executive director of ECUATEXTIL 2026, noted that the selection of the Antonio Ante canton is due to its deep-rooted textile tradition. The event seeks to bridge traditional Andean textile production with modern technological innovation and new commercial opportunities.
