Ecumenical Peace Decade 2026 to be held in Germany

The Ecumenical Peace Decade, scheduled from November 8 to 18, 2026, will feature various events aimed at encouraging courageous and resistant action regarding justice and responsibility. Organized by several church districts, including Erlangen and Neustadt an der Weinstraße, the program includes exhibitions, memorial services, and public rallies.

Key activities include the “Women of Peace” exhibition at Matthäuskirche in Uttenreuth and the “Einmischen jetzt” poster exhibition by artist Karl Willi Paul at the Casimirianum in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. Other events include a memorial service for the fall of the Berlin Wall, a rally regarding the war in Ukraine, and lectures on post-liberal capitalism and security policy.
