Turkish sports see major sponsorship, transfers, and presidential receptions

Turkish sports organizations are undergoing significant administrative and roster changes ahead of the new season. Eczacıbaşı Spor Kulübü has signed an official health sponsorship agreement with Memorial Sağlık Grubu for the 2026-2027 season, focusing on athlete health and infrastructure.

In the football sector, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hosted several clubs that have recently promoted to the Trendyol Süper Lig, including Amedspor, Erzurumspor, and Çorumspor, at the Presidential Complex. During the meeting, Amedspor officials presented the President with a team jersey.

Transfer activity remains high across various clubs. Konyaspor has reached a three-year agreement with striker Enis Destan from Hull City. Çaykur Rizespor has signed left-back Umut Erdem from Galatasaray on a three-year deal. Meanwhile, Fenerbahçe is reportedly looking to bring back goalkeeper Berke Özer from Lille as part of their squad rotation.

Financial developments also feature prominently, with Erzurumspor FK receiving donation commitments exceeding 200 million lira from businesspeople to strengthen its economic structure. Additionally, Pendikspor has successfully resolved its transfer ban, allowing the club to pursue new signings.
