Ed Joyce appointed Cricket Ireland High Performance Batting Coach

Cricket Ireland has appointed former international player Ed Joyce as its High Performance Batting Coach. Joyce will begin his role immediately, working with the Ireland Men's senior squad and the male talent pathway.

In his new capacity, Joyce will collaborate with men's head coach Gary Wilson and high performance director Graeme West. His appointment comes as the senior men's team seeks to strengthen its batting ahead of the 2027 ODI World Cup Qualifier.

Joyce has an extensive playing career, having represented both Ireland and England at the international level. He previously served as the Head Coach for Ireland Women from 2019 until early 2025. His recent coaching experience includes roles with Gloucestershire and the Dublin Guardians.
