Eddie Glaude, Jr. labels Republicans as ‘white supremacists’ on MS NOW
During an appearance on MS NOW’s “Deadline,” Princeton University professor Eddie Glaude, Jr. characterized certain Republicans as “white supremacists.” Glaude suggested that members of the nationalist conservative movement and those associated with white nationalist ideologies are acting in a way that is antithetical to the American project.
Host Alicia Menendez discussed the political climate in Michigan, noting the state’s economic impact from tariff wars and the importance of its upcoming Senate race. She criticized Vice President JD Vance for his comments regarding Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed, whom Vance described at a rally as “very, very evil.” Menendez questioned the rhetoric used by the Vice President, while Glaude argued that the targeting of El-Sayed is linked to his Muslim identity.
