Eddie Hearn and Dana White clash over Fury-Joshua fight involvement

Promoter Eddie Hearn and UFC CEO Dana White are engaged in a public dispute regarding the involvement of White and Zuffa Boxing in the upcoming heavyweight fight between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, scheduled for December 11.

Hearn has criticized White’s approach, attributing the recent conflict to White’s “arrogance” and describing his team as “control freaks.” Hearn claims that the tension could have been avoided if White had acknowledged existing contractual restrictions and sought a collaborative meeting with Turki Alalshikh rather than attempting to “bulldoze” his way into the promotional structure.

In response, White has defended his position by stating that the UFC will produce the fight broadcast for Netflix. White dismissed Hearn’s criticisms of his recent absence from a press conference, noting his travel commitments and asserting that the UFC’s role in delivering the production validates his involvement in the event.
