Eddie Hearn denies Dana White involvement in Fury vs. Joshua fight

Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn has dismissed claims by UFC CEO Dana White regarding his involvement in the upcoming Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua heavyweight bout. While White has suggested he is participating in the promotion and production of the event, Hearn maintains that White and the UFC have no role in the fight scheduled for December 11.

Hearn stated that Saudi-based promoter Sela has provided written confirmation that White and the UFC are not handling production. Instead, the production contract has been awarded to Whisper, the company responsible for the Fury-Makhmudov event, to produce the fight for Netflix.

The dispute follows disagreements over the fight's location. White reportedly advocated for the bout to be held at Madison Square Garden in the United States, whereas Hearn successfully secured the venue as Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, to ensure the event remains in the United Kingdom.
