Eddie Hearn says Zuffa Boxing barred from Joshua‑Fury super‑fight

Promoter Eddie Hearn told BoxingScene that both Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have signed contracts naming him and Frank Warren as the exclusive promoters for their upcoming heavyweight clash, which excludes Zuffa Boxing and its owner Dana White. Hearn said the agreements require the bout to be held in the United Kingdom, stating, “I just know what ours says: That, exclusively, the fight must take place in the U.K.”

While Joshua’s contract mandates a British venue, Fury’s contract does not specify a location, leaving open the possibility of negotiations over a U.S. stadium. The fight is linked to Saudi financier Turki Al‑Alshikh, who owns a majority stake in Zuffa Boxing.

The dispute highlights ongoing tensions in boxing promotion, with White previously claiming he would be involved in promoting the match despite the contractual restrictions.
