Eddie Kingston withdraws from C4 Wrestling charity event in Canada

AEW wrestler Eddie Kingston has withdrawn from the C4 Wrestling ‘Fighting Back 2026’ event in Ottawa, Ontario. The charity show, which raises funds for the Canadian Cancer Society, was scheduled for Friday, August 14.

C4 Wrestling issued a statement confirming Kingston would no longer appear, citing “circumstances beyond our control,” though no specific reasons for his absence were provided. Kingston was originally scheduled to compete in a six-man tag team match alongside Ortiz and Gabriel Fuerza against Sheldon Jean, Jessie V, and Mark Wheeler.

This withdrawal follows Kingston’s recent return to AEW television, where he recently defeated Jake Doyle in the Continental Challenge Cup tournament.
