Eddy Herrera and Elder Dayán release “La Corriente”

Dominican merengue artist Eddy Herrera and Colombian singer Elder Dayán Díaz have released a new musical collaboration titled “La Corriente”. The single, which debuted on October 23 across all digital platforms, blends traditional Dominican merengue with Colombian vallenato elements, specifically incorporating accordion notes.

The project originated from a friendship developed between the two artists over the past year while performing in Colombia. Written by Dominican composer Fulton Vásquez and produced by Edwin García, the track features energetic percussion and tropical arrangements designed to bridge the musical identities of both nations.
