EDEEste upgrades power supply for Central American Games village in Santo Domingo
The Empresa Distribuidora de Electricidad del Este (EDEEste) is building two new electrical circuits in Ciudad Juan Bosch. One circuit will reduce the load on the existing EBRI‑03 line, while a dedicated circuit will provide reliable electricity to the athletes' village for the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Games.
To install the infrastructure, EDEEste is scheduling temporary power outages on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in the affected circuits. The work is planned to finish by 10 July, after which the new circuits will be tested and put into operation, improving service stability and capacity for both residents and the sports facilities.
