Edeka recalls frozen blueberries due to Salmonella risk
Edeka and Marktkauf have issued a nationwide recall for ‘Edeka Bio Wildheidelbeeren tiefgefroren’ 300g packs due to potential Salmonella contamination. The manufacturer, Jütro Tiefkühlkost GmbH & Co. KG, warns that certain batches may contain the bacteria, which can cause symptoms such as fever, headache, and diarrhea.
Specific expiration dates (MHD) affected include 13.06.2028, 14.06.2028, 23.06.2028, and 24.06.2028. Consumers are strongly advised not to consume the product. Affected items can be returned to retail locations for a full refund, even without a receipt.
