Eder Militao returns to training as Real Madrid and Deportivo face squad challenges

Real Madrid defender Eder Militao has returned to training with the ball as he enters the final stages of his recovery. The Brazilian center-back is recovering from surgery following a proximal biceps femoris tendon rupture in his left leg. While he is not expected to participate in upcoming friendly matches or the very beginning of the LaLiga season, his return is anticipated in the near future.

Real Madrid faces several absences heading into the new season, including Mendy and Thiago Pitarch, the latter of whom is expected to be sidelined for approximately two months due to preseason physical issues.

Meanwhile, Deportivo de la Coruña enters the LaLiga season facing squad depth challenges following a summer of player departures and injuries. The team has dealt with the loss of players such as Mella, Yeremay, Jenseny, and Altimira. Despite the return of Espasande from a knee operation, the squad remains thin, forcing tactical adjustments during their preseason preparations.
