Edesa Biotech announces $25 million public offering
Edesa Biotech has priced an underwritten public offering expected to raise approximately $25 million in gross proceeds. The offering includes 3,870,500 common shares with accompanying warrants and pre-funded warrants for up to 675,000 common shares.
The common share warrants have an exercise price of $7.50 and are set to expire either 18 months from issuance or 30 days after the company announces Phase 2 topline data for its vitiligo treatment, EB06. Guggenheim Securities is serving as the sole book-runner for the deal, which is expected to close around August 21, 2026. The company intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including R&D, manufacturing, and working capital.
