Edgar Vivar to undergo spinal surgery next year
Actor Edgar Vivar, known for his roles as Señor Barriga and Ñoño, has announced that he will undergo spinal surgery in the second quarter of next year. At 77 years old, the actor stated that the procedure is necessary to correct a significant deviation in his lumbar spine.
Vivar explained that while the surgery is not considered an emergency or high-risk, it will be a laborious process. He expects to be away from work and public appearances for at least eight months. Following an initial six-month recovery period, he plans to take an additional two months to travel and ensure he has regained full mobility.
