Edgardo Mannucci exhibition to open in Arcevia and Fabriano

The exhibition ‘Mannucci. Fuoco e Genesi’ (Fire and Genesis) will run from September 19, 2026, to January 10, 2027, honoring the 40th anniversary of the passing of sculptor Edgardo Mannucci. The project is hosted at the Polo museale di Zona Conce in Fabriano and the Centro Culturale San Francesco in Arcevia.

Curated by Fabio Marcelli, the exhibition documents Mannucci’s artistic evolution, from his post-war training in Rome and post-cubist period to his prominence in the international informal sculpture movement. The title reflects his mastery of metalwork and the transformative use of fire in creating form.

The initiative is supported by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Fabriano e Cupramontana, which has maintained a long-term policy of acquiring Mannucci’s works. The exhibition will also feature pieces by other artists, including Quirino Ruggeri, Bruno Bruni, Giuseppe Gigli, and Enio D'Incecco.
