Edi Rama addresses social media account bans and Vlorë land dispute

Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama is addressing several domestic issues, including a conflict between businessmen in Vlorë. Rama announced that the area involved in the dispute will be converted into a public and tourist asset, specifically a park featuring indigenous olive trees and Mediterranean varieties.

In response to allegations from European Democrats regarding the deactivation of approximately 200 Instagram profiles linked to activists, Rama denied any government involvement. He stated that the administration lacks the technical capacity to intervene in social media accounts and criticized the accusations as political propaganda.

Additionally, Rama has implemented budgetary changes, redirecting funds originally designated for earthquake reconstruction in cities like Tirana and Durrës toward administrative expenses. He also addressed political tensions with deputies, suggesting that legislative members must take more responsibility for the country's current state.
