Edie Falco to star in new Fox legal drama ‘Katie Greaves’

Fox has greenlit a new character-driven legal drama titled ‘Katie Greaves’ (working title), starring four-time Emmy winner Edie Falco. The series is scheduled to premiere during the 2027–28 television season.

Created by Sharr White, who will serve as showrunner, the series follows an attorney who left the New Hampshire Public Defender’s office following a personal tragedy. The character, played by Falco, is now raising two granddaughters with her husband while being drawn back into legal work.

The production involves Scott Free Productions and Fox Entertainment Studios. This pickup is part of a broader strategy by Fox to anchor its drama slate with established television stars.
