Edifica 2026 construction fair opens in Santiago

The Edifica 2026 International Construction Fair has opened at Espacio Riesco in Santiago, Chile. Organized by the Chilean Chamber of Construction (CChC) and FISA, the event focuses on innovation, the environment, and productivity.

The fair spans 75,000 square meters and features over 700 exhibiting companies and more than 5,000 brands. Key demonstrations include a robotic arm capable of 3D-printing emergency housing developed by the Universidad del Biobío, an industrialized penitentiary module by BauMax, and a 3D modular home by Facoro.

CChC President Raimundo Rencoret stated that the fair is an effort by the industry to support economic reactivation and express confidence in the country's recovery. The inauguration was attended by Minister of Housing and Urbanism Iván Poduje and Minister of Energy Ximena Rincón.
