While the story initially brought joy, including a video message from Džeko himself, the Preradović family has faced significant pressure from toxic social media comments. Uroš’s mother, Maja, reported experiencing health issues due to the online backlash. She has since issued statements defending her family, emphasizing their resilience and unity against negativity.
