Edin Džeko farewell jersey sells for 95,100 KM at charity auction

Edin Džeko’s farewell jersey from his final match for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team has sold for 95,100 KM at a humanitarian auction. The jersey was worn during the match against Sweden at Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica.

Organized by the association Pomozi.ba, the auction saw intense bidding that escalated until the final winning offer was placed. The buyer has requested to remain anonymous. The proceeds from the sale will be donated to the ‘Sportisti za život’ (Athletes for Life) fund, which was co-founded by Džeko, to assist citizens in Bosnia and Herzegovina with medical treatment costs.
