Edin Džeko farewell match tickets sell out in 14 minutes

All 11,000 tickets for Edin Džeko’s final match with the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team sold out in just 14 minutes. The captain is set to play his farewell game against Sweden on October 2 at Bilino Polje stadium in Zenica.

The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina reported receiving nearly half a million requests for the limited seating. This massive demand led to a significant secondary market surge, with ticket prices being resold at much higher rates. While official prices for north and south stands were 40 KM (approximately 20 EUR), resale listings appeared between 150 and 200 KM. West stand tickets, originally priced at 60 KM, saw extreme markups, with one listing reaching 500 EUR.

Džeko, who debuted in 2007, retires as the nation’s all-time leading scorer with 151 appearances and 73 goals.
