Edin Terzić discusses new role at Athletic Club

Edin Terzić has transitioned from his role at Borussia Dortmund to become the new head coach of Athletic Club. At Dortmund, Terzić rose from a fan to a manager, leading the team to a DFB-Pokal title and a Champions League final.

In recent comments to the Spanish outlet As, Terzić discussed his new role and his relationship with Slaven Bilić, whom he described as a vital figure in his life. Regarding his appointment at Athletic Club, Terzić stated that the club “perfectly suits me” and promised to give his all to prove the partnership is successful. He also addressed the challenge of succeeding club legend Ernesto Valverde, noting that he does not view his appointment as a direct attempt to replace Valverde’s legacy, but rather as a new chapter for the club.
