Edinburgh Fringe features Avenue Q and Craig Speirs

Performances at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival continue to draw diverse talent, ranging from musical theatre to gritty stand-up comedy.

A production of Avenue Q at the Grand Lodge has received positive reviews for its energetic cast of professional and amateur performers. The musical, a pastiche of Sesame Street, features strong vocal performances and effective puppetry, particularly from Marc Robertson as Princeton and Jessica Grant as Kate Monster.

Comedian Craig Speirs made his Fringe debut at The Alchemist in St James Quarter. His set, titled ‘Problem Child’, draws on his upbringing in Glasgow and explores themes related to ADHD through anecdotal and bawdy storytelling.
