Edinburgh Fringe showcases Australian productions and comedy lineup

The 2026 Edinburgh Festival Fringe program features an estimated 3,649 shows across more than 250 venues. Among the comedy offerings, a curated list of twelve performances includes Kim Blythe’s "Puzzle", Lebanese‑born John Achkar’s English‑language debut, and Ray O’Leary’s observational set.

Australian producer House of Oz will present eight productions at the Fringe. Founder Georgie Black explained that the company, which began in 2022 to fill a gap for Australian artists, now partners with major venues such as the Big Four presenters and Summerhall. Black noted a growing Australian presence at the festival, with more artists and higher‑profile shows than in previous years.
