Edinburgh's 2026 Food and Folk Festivals Fill Inverleith Park and George Square
The Foodies Festival returns to Edinburgh’s Inverleith Park from 7‑9 August 2026, marking the 21st edition of the UK’s largest touring food, drink and music event. The three‑day programme features national TV chefs, MasterChef champion Harry Maguire, Great British Menu contestants, and live musical acts such as Scouting For Girls and Gareth Gates. New interactive elements include a Ready, Steady, Cook cook‑off, a chilli‑eating challenge and a dedicated Kids Cookery School.
Meanwhile, the Edinburgh Folk & Food Festival is set for 2026 in Assembly George Square Gardens. The event offers a global street‑food lineup with stalls from Colombia, China, India, Italy, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, Scotland, Spain, Thailand and Vietnam. Highlights include Bellfield Brewery’s gluten‑free craft ales, Alanda’s seafood and gelato, and award‑winning Ting Thai.
